Are you afraid of Frazzle?

If not, maybe you should be.

Frazzle doesn't make a lot of sense (literally).  He's an "emotional" puppet, but he also doesn't talk and always has the same facial expression.  a scary one.

His friends trump him up as a really cool guy, but I see no evidence.  They SEEM to be able to tell how he's feeling, but what if they're wrong?

What about other feelings?  Does Frazzle get ANGRY?  How would you know, unless he actually attacked you?  What kind of noise does he make when he's scared?  Or especially proud of himself?  I would imagine it's just more of the same.  That has to be rough, being cooped up inside your own head like that.  Unable to communicate.  Linda should have taught him sign language.

Is Frazzle allowed in Mr. Hooper's Store?  How would he ask for something?  If the children on the Street are afraid of him, how can he tell them not to be?  and what if they aren't, but SHOULD be?  What if Frazzle is secretly dangerous?  Certain characters have gone missing over the years.

I'm not ACCUSING him of any wrong-doing, but where did everybody get the idea that Frazzle was happy and fun?  What if he's COMPLETELY misunderstood, and that sound he keeps making just means he's getting madder and madder?  Could be a ticking time bomb.  "I'm NOT crying right now I'm CONTENT.  Look, THIS is crying.  See the difference?  Will ANYBODY ever understand me?"
